Description

Bortolomiol's Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Cartizze comes from Glera grapes from the hills of Valdobbiadene, in the Grand Cru of Cartizze, a small strip of land with an ancient charm , where time seems to have stopped and the rows follow one another, one after the other lining the hill.

Real Grand Cru , with a denomination of its own, characterized by the classic aromas of an excellent Prosecco: tropical fruit, fruit salad and hazelnuts, then acacia flowers and light aromatic herbs. When tasted, the typical softness of Cartizze is compensated by the freshness , standing out for a remarkable creamy density , giving a naturally lovable and harmonious taste.

Why you should drink it

Because with this bottle we enter the most important cru of the entire Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG , with this Superiore Dry Bortolomiol presents a wine where freshness, sapidity and balance in the wide bouquet of aromas offered to the nose create a product of rare elegance .

When to uncork it

A wine that lends itself to being consumed on various occasions, a very classy choice for an aperitif , while throughout the meal I suggest you combine it with sweet pastries .

How to drink it

Always keep one of these bottles chilled, just in case, serve it at a temperature of 6-8℃ .

Vinification and Aging

The grapes are harvested and selected entirely by hand, after the classic white winemaking processes , the second fermentation takes place in a steel autoclave, according to the Martinotti method , for 25-30 days, with aging for 30-90 days on its lees .

Territory

We are located in the municipality of Valdobbiadene , more precisely in a particularly precious hilly area, known by the name of "Cartizze" , a strip of land with an ancient charm, where time seems to have stopped and rows follow one another, one after another, lining the hill.

Soil

The soil is made up of sandstones and moraines , with a clayey bottom which guarantees a constant water reserve .
