The “Poggio de' Paoli” by Tenuta Lenzini is a red wine obtained from a blend of five grapes , we are talking about international grapes such as Merlot , Cabernet Sauvignon , Cabernet Franc , Syrah and Alicante Bouschet .
In the vineyard the principles of biodynamic agriculture reign, to which Michele has relied since 2007, he is always the one who manages the vineyard together with his wife Benedetta and thanks to a "return to the origins" they produce this bottle which offers a new and unexpected .
On the nose it is intriguing and multifaceted with an extremely varied aromatic bouquet , while the sip is full, rich and material , without however giving up juice and freshness.
We are talking about a Tuscan red in which international bunches meet with native grapes , to give shape to an intriguing, engaging and unique glass.
A purebred red not to be missed.
Do you have guests for dinner and do you want meat? Then this is the right bottle. Uncork this wine whether the menu includes meat-based first courses or red meat second courses, everyone will be satisfied!!!
Being an artisanal wine I recommend you uncork it and let it 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before tasting it, serve it at a temperature of 18°-20°C .
Vinified entirely in wood , with a long refinement, it is a red that well expresses the seductive aromatic richness of the Syrah vine , the fermentation takes place in tubs and tonneaus, with the use of only indigenous yeasts , before being bottled, the wine rests for 24 months in large French oak barrels and tonneaux.
We are on the green hills of Lucca, in the small town of Gragnano , here we find the 13 hectares of vineyards corresponding to the name of Tenuta Lenzini, founded in the 16th century and originally belonging to the famous Arnolfini couple, portrayed in the famous painting by Van Eyck, now exhibited at British Museum in London.
Meticulous attention to the cultivation of the soil, which does not undergo synthetic treatments, copper and sulfur are used only as strictly necessary.
