Firriato 's Nero d'Avola Sicilia Chiaramonte is a red wine with an intense ruby color , enriched by vivid purple hues . The nose shows an impeccable and fragrant fruit, of surprising clarity , from which aromas emerge, alternating, reminiscent of plum and blackberries , black cherries and blueberries , cloves , black pepper , licorice , dark chocolate and humus .
This Firriato red is produced in the Dàgala Borromeo estate in the western part of Sicily : the uniqueness of this area is the composition of the soils , a unique terroir that gives complexity to the structure of the wines .
This Nero d 'Avola Chiaromonte by Firriato admirably combines the power of which the grape is naturally endowed with the expressive softness , revealing itself to be deep and caressing , with a strong character , well tempered by silky and persuasive tannins; the nose-mouth correspondence is exemplary and extraordinary .

Chiaramonte di Firriato is a full -bodied red , for meal and company that goes well with stewed red meat, vegetable risotto, roasted or grilled meat, aged cheeses and with a pasta accompanied by a meat sauce.
To best enjoy it , being a full-bodied and structured wine , the advice is:
- uncork it young;
- use a nice glass;
- enjoy it at a temperature that is neither too hot nor too cool : cellar at 16 degrees or in any case not hot from the closet.
Traditional vinification in refrigerated fermenters ; partial aging in barriques for 6 months .
