The Fichimori of Tenuta Tormaresca , owned by the Antinori family , is an ambassador wine of its Apulian origins , in fact it is produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes . The wine takes its name from one of the most delicious fruits of the area, the fig which has a purplish-red tending to black inside.
Apulian viticulture contains innumerable potential and this estate wants to harness its characteristics, with the story of a land of sun , sea and scenic beauty , combining all this with the work philosophy of the Antinori family who have always been a guarantee in proposing products representative of the traditions locals.
The nose reveals beautiful fruity notes of cherry, strawberry, currant and pomegranate. In the mouth it is fresh , balanced , soft and persistent , it amazes with its pleasantness and drinkability.

I recommend drinking it nice cool , at a temperature of 6°-10°C .
Cold pre-fermentation maceration lasted for 5 days , in order to extract the varietal aromas , the color and the soft polyphenolic components. The refinement takes place for a few months in steel.
The territory is that of Masseria Maime , which is in the most beautiful areas of the high Salento .
The soil is predominantly calcareous with sandy soils alternating .
