The Salento Negroamaro by Vitti is a wine produced with 100% Negroamaro grapes , a typical Apulian grape variety, the Vitti winery is a true institution in the production of typical local wines, but characterized by an international mold while maintaining the personality.

It offers ripe aromas of red fruit and pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla, while on the palate it has a dense body of aromas , the tannic texture is harmonious , the freshness very balanced and the finish very persistent .

Vinification and Aging

The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers for about 15-20 days during which numerous pumping overs allow the Negroamaro wine to acquire aromatic and coloring substances from the skins. After fermentation, the Negroamaro Vitti is separated from the skins and aged in steel for about six months before blending and bottling.

Territory

The territory in which this wine is produced is found in the old vineyards cultivated in the countryside of the municipalities of San Marzano and Sava , in the province of Taranto .
