Lugana Doc Oasi Mantellina 2023 - Allegrini

Description

Allegrini's Lugana “ Oasi Mantellina ” is an everyday white, produced almost entirely from Turbiana grapes , known locally as Trebbiano di Lugana , as well as a small percentage of Cortese .

This white wine was born from the indomitable desire of the Allegrini family , to try their hand at a different area, such as that of Pozzolengo in the Brescia area, so as to provide their own interpretation of the local native vines, thus resulting in a convivial wine that sums up the essence of the place in sharp way.

The nose is delicate , opened by floral nuances, then followed by fruity notes and almond memories. In the mouth it aligns with the sense of smell, revealing itself to be taut , fresh , balanced and of good length.

Why you should drink it

Because this is a direct wine that wants to speak without pretence , a white that doesn't expect anything and that doesn't want to pass over anyone, but which at the same time with its qualities will be able to make you discover a new face of the territory .

When to uncork it

This is a white to accompany all grilled fish , it reveals great adaptability to raw and rich appetizers based on seared tuna or fresh salmon .

How to drink it

Remember to keep it cool , but not too much, to serve at a temperature of 8°-10°C .

Soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel. Aging with a short passage in stainless steel .

We are in the municipality of Pozzolengo , in the province of Brescia , nearby is Lake Garda .

Soil

The soil is very clayey but there is also the presence of both gravelly and sandy elements.
