We are in Neive, one of the 100 most beautiful villages in Italy, which in its heart of the Langhe hosts the Angelo Pastura farm, specialized for over a century in the production and processing of Nebbiolo .
The Langhe Nebbiolo Magnum from the Angelo Pastura farm is a traditionalist Nebbiolo .
Created from 100% Nebbiolo grapes , which makes it even more special, it has a pale, almost orange color in the glass. It elegantly reveals its fruits, both in the mouth and on the nose, if drunk when young.
I don't know how much you know about wines, but there are a couple of things about Angelo Pastura's Nebbiolo that you absolutely need to know!
For example: did you know that this wine is 100% Nebbiolo grapes ? And that is not absolutely discounted as a percentage? In fact, the Angelo Pastura farm specializes in this grape variety and is the only one it deals with. The grapes from the younger vineyards of Serraboella, a typical geographical mention, are selected and then carefully processed for the production of this excellent product.
You won't find this wine always and everywhere: take advantage of this opportunity to discover a magnum bottle that will remain in your heart.
The Langhe Nebbiolo from the Angelo Pastura farm is the perfect bottle to bring for a nice lunch with friends: a wine that knows how to show itself elegant, but with character, to face conversations of any kind, but which knows how to adapt to simple and familiar situations in front of to a table full of meats, sauces and hearty first courses.
In short: gather your friends, come what may, this Nebbiolo Magnum goes down like a pleasure!
To best enjoy this Nebbiolo, drink it at 18-20°C.
The harvest takes place in October from 100% Nebbiolo grapes . Fermentation in steel tanks for about 14-16 days. It is then moved for 6 months in medium-large oak barrels.
