The Saten "Vintage Collection" Ca' del Bosco is the bottle with the most delicate character of the Franciacorta production of this famous winery. A sparkling wine that Ca' del Bosco makes for those looking for quality , refinement , design and prestige .
This Franciacorta Saten is an assembly of Chardonnay with a minor percentage of Pinot Bianco , the grapes are usually harvested by hand in the second half of August in the vineyards scattered among the municipalities of Erbusco, Adro, Cazzago San Martino, Corte Franca and Passirano, in the province of Brescia.
The characteristic of this Saten is that it is less aggressive in the mouth, thanks to a soft and velvety bubble and a truly valuable delicacy. Ca' del Bosco is one of the greatest exponents of the great Franciacortas, a name that has been able to conquer a leading role, in fact this Saten is synonymous with sensuality and elegance, a unique Franciacorta that will remain in your heart.
Maurizio Zanella , patron of Ca' del Bosco, was the first visionary to glimpse the potential of these lands and has become one of the most important points of reference for the denomination. This is a wine that everyone should try, born of continuous innovation , thanks to constant research and thinking outside the conventional box .
Ca' del Bosco and its wines are always synonymous with high quality .
A Franciacorta that goes perfectly with fish dishes such as fish crudités, first or second courses ... it is also excellent with the typical cold cuts of the Italian table.
Compulsory to keep this bottle at 8°-10°C .
Sparkling wine produced according to the Classic Method , with second fermentation in the bottle. The refinement is 48 months on the lees.
Located a few steps from Brescia and Lake Iseo , Franciacorta is an area famous for the production of the homonymous wine, Franciacorta DOCG ; it extends for about 200 km and embraces 19 municipalities in Brescia.
The influence of the lake climate with its temperature ranges, the hilly landscape and the presence of heterogeneous plots with high permeability make this morainic area the ideal place to give life to an excellent wine .
The Franciacorta soil is essentially of morainic derivation : it is in fact made up, for the most part, of deposits transported over the last 700,000 years by the ancient glacier, the Oglio glacier. It is a very particular terrain, rich in sand and silt , where there are stones of different shapes, types and colours.
