Ca' del Bosco's Franciacorta Brut Vintage Collection is a Millesimato , produced by the famous Erbusco cellar only in the best years, it is a balanced cuvée of the three classic grapes of Franciacorta, the majority percentage is Chardonnay , followed by Pinot Noir and finally Pinot Blanc .
This Franciacorta Millesimato is part of the high-end labels of Ca' del Bosco, one of the names that has most contributed to creating the fame of the denomination, it has a perlage of great finesse and persistence with a bouquet with intense aromas of ripe fruit, zest of 'citrus, bread crust, dried fruit and toasted nuances.
On the palate it has a good structure, with a complex and deep sip, which stretches towards a persistent finish, characterized by a lively mineral freshness .
Because this is one of those bottles which, together with the other Ca' del Bosco sparkling wines, has contributed to establishing the cellar as one of the symbols of Italian sparkling wine .
A prestigious and intense expression of the cellar , a bomb for special occasions!
Thanks to its great expressiveness it is particularly suitable for accompanying important menus , specifically I recommend you to accompany it with fish-based dishes, fresh cheeses and cured meats .
Uncork it and let it breathe for a few minutes , remember to keep it in a cool place, but not too much, at a temperature of 10-12°C .
Sparkling wine produced according to the Classic Method or Champenoise , with second fermentation in the bottle. Aging of 48 months on the lees .
Located a few steps from Brescia and Lake Iseo , Franciacorta is an area famous for the production of the homonymous wine, Franciacorta DOCG ; it extends for about 200 km and embraces 19 municipalities in Brescia.
The influence of the lake climate with its temperature ranges, the hilly landscape and the presence of heterogeneous plots with high permeability make this morainic area the ideal place to give life to an excellent wine .
The Franciacorta soil is essentially of morainic derivation : it is in fact made up, for the most part, of deposits transported over the last 700,000 years by the ancient glacier, the Oglio glacier. It is a very particular terrain, rich in sand and silt , where there are stones of different shapes, types and colours.
