Ca' del Bosco's Franciacorta Brut DOCG Cuvée Prestige needs no introduction, also because it is produced by the most famous company in Franciacorta and Italian sparkling wine production.
Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige represents the best expression of this territory , it is made up of 82% Chardonnay , 16.5% Pinot Noir and 1.5% Pinot Bianco with a blend of 68% base wines, 29% of Riserva from the previous harvest and 3% of Vini Nobili di Riserva.
The result of a careful selection of grapes and skilful vinification through the Ca' del Bosco Method , aged on the yeasts for at least 25 months, it is a Franciacorta surprising for its freshness and taste balance, with a great aromatic richness, absolutely not to be missed.
Expression of the most authentic essence of the different terroirs of Franciacorta, this all-Italian pearl is also one of the best ways to get to know Ca' del Bosco and its original working processes.
A bubble that has nothing to envy of Champagne, try it to believe it.
Excellent as an aperitif, it also pairs perfectly with delicate fish or vegetable starters, or with shellfish main courses.
A perfect wine also for special occasions, to make them unique .
To be uncorked nice and fresh to appreciate its style, at a temperature of 10-12°C.
The grapes are vinified separately , the fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, where the wines remain until the following March. This is followed by seven months of refinement followed by the blending of the wines with the reserves of the best vintages . The refinement lasts 25 months , followed by disgorgement which takes place in the absence of oxygen, using a unique system designed and patented by Ca' del Bosco , which avoids oxidative shocks and further additions of sulphites.
Located a few steps from Brescia and Lake Iseo , Franciacorta is an area famous for the production of the wine of the same name, Franciacorta DOCG ; it extends for approximately 200 km and embraces 19 municipalities in Brescia.
The influence of the lake climate with its temperature variations, the hilly landscape and the presence of heterogeneous plots with high permeability make this morainic area the ideal place to create an excellent wine .
The Franciacorta soil is essentially of morainic origin : it is in fact made up, for the most part, of deposits transported over the last 700,000 years by the ancient glacier, the Oglio glacier. It is a very particular terrain, rich in sand and silt , in which stones of different shapes, nature and colors are found.
