Pilade was the name of an old owner of a parcel of vineyard which today is owned by Cascina Ballarin and has also become the name of the vineyard and the Dolcetto d'Alba they produce .
In addition to being a nice gift and a nice thought , this Pilade is also an excellent wine !
Dolcetto d'Alba Pilade is presented in the glass with a beautiful bright ruby red color , to the nose it brings a profile rich in fruity , fresh and intense aromas and to the sip it reveals an elegant , savory and velvety taste.
If you didn't know, Dolcetto is a native vine of the lower Piedmont area that has different types depending on the particular production area . The most popular of these is Dolcetto d'Alba and Cascina Ballarin has found the magic trick to produce one that enhances all its qualities !

The Dolcetto d'Alba Pilade by Cascina Ballarin is an excellent wine for the whole meal, which reserves the pleasure of doing well with any combination .

To best drink this bottle of Cascina Ballarin , the temperature should be between 16ºC and 18ºC .
The vinification takes place in thermo-regulated steel tanks , while the aging is 6 months in steel and 6 months in the bottle .
We are located in the heart of the Langa , in Piedmont .
The soil is calcareous , blue marl , sandy .
