Description

The Colli Piacentini Malvasia Doc "Boccadirosa" by Cantina Luretta is a white wine produced from 100% aromatic Malvasia di Candia grapes , we are talking about a product that is born in a completely BIO regime and that needs no introduction, a fresher , younger and "modern" interpretation of the vine.

The grape used is also called "Uva di Piacenza" , arrived here from medieval trade and today present only in this area , an award-winning wine, true revenge for an almost forgotten or snubbed vine.

The scents of the vine mark the aromas which show notes of orange blossom, lychee, snuffbox peach, grape skin, bergamot and candied sugar. The sip is warm , ample and soft , strengthened by mineral chills and references to the sense of smell.

Why you should drink it

This is a wine to try absolutely , especially if you believe that aromatics are only good for producing sweet wines, here we are faced with a wine with a stunning balance , where all the characteristics coexist without clashing, to give life to a unique glass in the world .

Try it, then you'll thank me!

When to uncork it

It is excellent for your aperitifs, but I suggest you try it in the company of risotto and pumpkin tortelli or in combination with fish dishes .

How to drink it

Regardless of the occasion, this is an excellent wine to be uncorked immediately , but I recommend serving it chilled , at a temperature of 10–12°C .

Vinification and Aging

In the cellar the bunches are softly pressed, followed by vinification with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks.

Territory

We are located in the cellars of the Castello di Momeliano , in the province of Piacenza , more precisely in the Valle Luretta area , located on the foothills of the Piacenza Apennines.

Soil

The soils are made up of clayey-silty fluvial deposits and calcareous marls .
