VINOVE' SALES!!
Grapes of superior quality , soils facing south, Mediterranean climate and sea breezes: could the "La Baia del Sole" estate have mediocre wines? Obviously not.
But why make good wines when you can produce excellent ones?
Vermentino Colli di Luni "Sarticola" is in fact the flagship wine of La Baia del Sole: it comes from the grapes of the vineyard of the same name, considered to all intents and purposes a real company cru, and is the most renowned of the denomination.
The wine has a deep straw yellow color with important golden reflections. The scent is full of impressions of ripe and tropical fruit. In the mouth it is velvety, thick and dynamic; with a dry and intense flavor. The finish is long and full of sensations that turn from fruity memories towards more mineral notes.
What part of the sentence we wrote in the description above “La Baia del Sole's flagship wine” didn't convince you?
In short ... Fine grapes and a label that is a whole program: you can't miss this bottle!
Vermentino Colli di Luni “Sarticola” is one of those wines that must be on your check list of wines tasted at least once in a lifetime.
Vermentino Colli di Luni "Sarticola" is the perfect white to drink with fish dishes in front of it.
A wine so influenced by the sea breeze can only accompany such delicate dishes!
Since, however, we are talking about a Lady label, if we were you we would try to drink it with the right company for a special occasion ... Then you see!
This Vermentino Colli di Luni "Sarticola" is to be served and drunk at a temperature of 10 ° -12 ° C.
The harvest takes place manually towards the end of September, at full phenolic ripeness . The bunches are cold macerated for 48 hours before soft pressing. After a natural decantation of the must, fermentation is carried out in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 16 ° C for a period of a couple of weeks. Before being bottled, it ages in steel tanks on the fine lees for a few months.
We are located in the Baia del Sole, in the municipality of Luni. The territory extends on the extreme eastern tip of Liguria, between the Gulf of La Spezia and the Apuan Alps.
The vines are older than 30 years and are cultivated at an altitude of about 330 meters above sea level, on a clayey soil rich in pebbles.
