VINOVE' SALES!!
Pian delle Vigne is the Brunello di Montalcino of the Antinori family, a historic family of Tuscan wine producers that boasts a tradition of over 600 years , during which it has managed to follow the path of excellence until reaching peaks reserved for a few talents.
To date, the Marchesi Antinori family in Italy has 8 estates, including the Pian delle Vigne winery located a few km south of Montalcino, just above the Val d'Orcia.
This is a 100% Sangiovese with a beautiful ruby red color, intense and brilliant, the nose reveals all the grace that distinguishes it with a large bouquet . The taste is as intense as the scent, it is soft and persistent at the right point and then lengthens with a pleasantly spicy finish.
Because the "Pian delle Vigne" is a pure Sangiovese that encloses the character of this typology in a form of absolute elegance and finesse .
If that's not enough for you, these are Piero Antinori 's words on the soul of his wine :
«We have a mission that is not fully accomplished, which drives us to express the vast potential of our vineyards and to reconcile the new that remains to be discovered with the heritage of Tuscan taste ».
Stock up on these bottles, so you can uncork throughout the meal to enjoy this brunello with rich meat-based dishes .
If, on the other hand, you want to find the PERFECT combination, then uncork with roasts and braised meats, especially if based on game .
To enjoy it at its best, let it 'breathe' for 30-60 minutes and remember to serve it at 18°-20°C .
The alcoholic fermentation is followed by the malolactic one always inside steel tanks. The refinement takes place in large oak barrels for a long time, over 2 years .
The company is made up of 184 hectares, of which 65 are vineyards exposed mainly to the south-west at an altitude of about 130 meters above sea level, Pian delle Vigne represents the personal and profound interpretation of the Marchesi Antinori of a prestigious and traditional wine such as Brunello.
Soil that tends to be clayey and calcareous , rich in small stones.
