What does it mean to interpret a territory through your own vision?
Tenute Deperi are located in Ranzo, in the suggestive Arroscia Valley, and embody the family's passion and dedication for the cultivation of vines. This passion has deep roots, dating back to the first decades of the nineteenth century. The Deperi family began its agricultural activity in this corner of Liguria, passing down the art of viticulture.
The history of the company is a testimony of love for the territory: since the beginning Deperi has worked with dedication, making the most of the natural resources of the Arroscia Valley, reaching an important milestone in 2004 with the creation of a modern cellar.
Today, Tenute Deperi extends between the Alta Valle Arroscia, the capital of Pigato, and the Ligurian Riviera, where Vermentino is favored. This subdivision allows the vineyards to draw on a unique microclimate, furthermore the expert guidance of the oenologist Andrea Magliano gives continuous growth and innovation.
All this is reflected in the glass, each wine is highly expressive, like Deperi's Riviera Ligure Ponente Vermentino Doc which is the maximum expression of a terroir a stone's throw from the sea, a white wine emblematic of freshness and light-heartedness, this Vermentino has the ability to transport you to the Ligurian terraces overlooking the sea, caressed by the fresh breeze under the sun, truly magical.

Tenute Deperi is not just a winery, but a real institution that celebrates the culture and flavors of Liguria. Each bottle produced tells a story of passion, dedication and respect for the land, making every sip a unique and unforgettable experience.
The Riviera Ligure Ponente Vermentino Doc by Deperi , produced with grapes grown on the first terraces overlooking the sea of Albenga, stands out for its freshness, flavor and balance, making it a true symbol of what lies behind the company's production idea .
The Vermentino from Tenute Deperi is a wine that tells of the resourcefulness of this Ligurian reality: it comes from the grapes of Tenuta Colombera, its production begins with the manual harvesting of the grapes, a process that guarantees the maximum quality and integrity of the fruit. Once harvested, the grapes are transported to a cold room to preserve their fresh aromas and organoleptic characteristics.
Winemaking is a meticulous process that begins with soft pressing of the grapes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, allowing the freshness and integrity of the flavors to be preserved. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks, followed by a further 2 months in the bottle
This Vermentino has a brilliant color while on the nose it offers an aromatic bouquet that immediately recalls the Mediterranean scrub, with notes of white flowers, citrus fruits and a delicate hint of aromatic herbs typical of the Ligurian coast. In the mouth it is fresh and lively, with a marked flavor that recalls the proximity to the sea. A well-structured wine with the right complexity, characteristics that make it a perfect ambassador of the Ligurian territory and its traditions.

Now let's talk about the company's TOP production: the Pigato Superiore Cremen DOC , a white with great personality, which embodies the essence of the Ranzo area, in the Bonfigliara and Ricci hamlets, in the province of Imperia.
Produced with grapes from vineyards with an average age of 40 years, this wine presents itself on the nose, this superior pigato offers a rich and complex bouquet, with toasted and honey notes that combine with mineral hints. In the mouth it is intense, with balsamic nuances and a marked minerality that reflect the red earth soil on which the vines grow.
This wine is a tribute to the origins of the Deperi family, the name "Cremen" is the dialect term for Clemente, the founder of the family, and symbolizes the return to the roots, both in taste and in processing and respect for the land.
Pigato Superiore Cremen DOC is ideal for uncorking during a fish-based dinner or particularly tasty dishes. Drinking it means immersing yourself in the history and tradition of Ranzo, savoring a wine born from love and dedication for viticulture.

We close with a real gem, a rare wine produced only in the deep hinterland of Imperia: the Ormeasco Sciac-Tra DOC , typical of Pornassio, derives its name from the Ligurian dialect which means "squeeze and throw", perfectly describing the winemaking method used .
This process involves pressing the grapes and immediately racking them, before the skins release too much color. The vinification follows the classic method for black grapes, resulting in a cherry rosé color that immediately captures attention. On the nose, it offers a delicate bouquet that makes it inviting and pleasant. On the palate, the wine is dry, fresh and harmonious, characteristics that make it an ideal companion for various gastronomic occasions.
We are talking about a wine that comes from an indigenous vine of Liguria, the choice to use this vine exclusively reflects the Deperi company's commitment to enhancing local viticultural traditions and producing wines that are authentic representatives of their territory.
Deperi's Ormeasco Sciac-Tra DOC is a wine that brings with it the history of Pornassio. Its delicacy offers a sensorial experience that celebrates the Ligurian territory. Ideal for light starters, fish dishes and summer salads, this wine is an excellent choice for those wishing to explore authentic Ligurian flavours.
