Description

Allegrini's Amarone Classico is born mainly from Corvina Veronese grapes , with the addition of Rondinella and Oseleta grapes , this wine is the result of a long research process, aimed at creating a complex and rich wine , but which also preserves the fruity aromas of the starting grape, maintaining the original fragrance of the fruit intact.

This Amarone is the result of the experience of the Allegrini family , which produces the great excellence of Valpolicella in respect of tradition and the times necessary for its full and complete maturation.

It releases hints of ripe red fruit and light spicy notes, while on the palate it is deep and very thick , with refined tannins that give vigor and strength leading to a velvety finish.

Why you should drink it

What questions, because Allegrini's Amarone Classico della Valpolicella is one of the most loved Italian wines in the world , an example par excellence of tradition , territory and peasant wisdom .

A great Amarone , a reference of the entire appellation.

When to uncork it

Perfect in combination with braised meats , grilled meats and even game , to be tried also with sweet and sour dishes of Asian cuisine .

How to drink it

I advise you to let it "breathe" for at least an hour , serve it at a temperature of 18°-20°C .

Vinification and Aging

Before vinification, after a harvest with rigorous selection of perfectly ripe bunches , drying of the grapes for about 120 days to reduce the water content and further concentrate the sugars. Aging for 18 months in new barriques .

Territory

We are in the heart of Valpolicella , in the province of Verona, where the territory is mainly hilly, with vines that have an average age of 33 years .

Soil

The soil is rich in clay and limestone .
