Gewurztraminer H.Lun was born from the entrepreneurial courage and tenacity of Alois H. Lun , from whom the company takes its name, produced with 100% Gewürztraminer grapes typical of Alto Adige, so much so that it takes its name from the town of Termeno, in German precisely Tramin .
This Gewürztraminer is a true joy for all the senses , on the nose floral and grape aromas stand out, very playful, which invite you to the first sip, while on the palate it is super juicy , with a nice body, very balanced acidity and sweetness without neglecting the typical grape aromas, almost as if you were biting into fresh grapes.
If until now you have not approached Gewürztraminer for fear of finding a sweet and disharmonious wine, with this bottle you will change your mind , a wonderful wine with many qualities.
Are you preparing a fish-themed dinner? Gewurztraminer H.Lun goes well with shellfish , tasty meat preparations and pâté de foie .
If you want to make a big splash, pair it with Asian cuisine, a guaranteed hit.
Regardless of the occasion, this is an excellent wine to uncork immediately , but I recommend serving it nice and chilled, at a temperature of 10-12℃.
The grape harvest takes place between 15 and 30 September, the vinification is carried out in steel.
The vines are grown in the microzone of Egna , one of the most beautiful villages in Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely close to Lake Caldaro .
The soil is very mineral , rich in water and little exposed to the winds.
