In 1928, the great-grandfather and grandfather, after having worked for many years as sharecroppers on another farmhouse, began to build the house with the cellar, the stable and the barn. For several years, the company lived by cultivating various crops (fruit, grapes, wine, cereals, hazelnuts) and raising animals. The transformation and specialization in viticulture came 25 years ago.

Today all the members of the family work in the company, who take care of all the jobs, from operations in the vineyards with the production of grapes, to winemaking. All operations have as their main objective the search for the final quality of the wines, trying to respect the environment and nature with eco-sustainable processing practices. Cascina Ballarin organizes visits and tastings by reservation, for small and large groups, combining wines with some typical products of the area, mainly cold cuts and cheeses.
